LUBEX® LUBRICATION TREATMENT

It is an anti-friction treatment for reducing the friction between the screw and the material into which it is screwed, with the consequence of reducing the tightening torque and wear of the tools and machines. The LUBEX® treatment is applied to the entire range of Panelvit® screws, the Kovervit® AA screws for wood and in the LUBEX®-M version, to the range of Formex® trilobular screws.

This treatment has two advantages:

1) TIGHTENING PHASE
Reduction of the tightening torque of up to 50% compared to a common unlubricated screw.

2) RESUMING OR LOOSENING PHASE
When the screw is tightened in several steps (stop and start, or during the loosening phase), it is subjected to considerable torque in that the material in which it is screwed applies friction to it. The screw is thus subjected to a stress that may even exceed its breakage limit.
LUBEX® eliminates this hazardous peaks of torque, thus protecting the screw against the risk of breakage and the tools against wear.

The video below shows the qualities of the Lubex® lubrication in the tightening tests carried out, comparing the several brands:
