Screw for fixing hardware elements to profiles for PVC windows or doors.

RECESS
with deep PH2 cross, to guarantee excellent coupling with the tightening tip, thus considerably reducing consumption.

HEAD
with a small diameter (7 mm), for fixing hardware elements and hinges.

THREAD
with a diameter of 3.9 mm with a special narrow pitch, for screwing into galvanized metal reinforcements. The optimized thread up to the head ensures effective gripping of the screw and a high tear resistance.

TIP
special ‘Drillex’, self-drilling tip, for drilling quickly and easily galvanized metal reinforcements with a thickness of up to 3 mm.

CHROMITING® GALVANIC TREATMENT
of an iridescent colour, it ensures much more effective protection against rust than all normal galvanizing treatments. Complies with the EN1670 standard grade 4.

WHITE HEAD LACQUERING
with thermosetting powders to guarantee perfect adhesion to the surface of the head.

IN PROCESS CONTROLS
The entire manufacturing process is subjected to SPC (Statistical Product Control), which guarantees a constantly high level of quality in time.
The batch number on the labels ensures absolute traceability of all the phases of production and related control/test documents.

CALIBRATED SCREWS
The Drillex® PVC screws are manufactured with stricter-than-standard tolerance limits. They can therefore be defined as ‘calibrated’, that is, capable of sliding more easily in the guides and loading tubes of screwing machines.

AUTOMATIC SCREWING MACHINES
The set of characteristics illustrated above, together with a production process completely under control, make the Drillex® PVC screws suitable for automated and critical screwing operations.
