Screw for fixing thick parts without making a pilot hole in the parts to be assembled.
RECESS
deep to ensure secure matching with the screwdriver. A deep recess, of a perfect shape, enables he same insert to be used for thousands of screwing operations.
HEAD
reinforced to enable high tightening torques to be transmitted.
RIBS
The self-milling ribs under the head have a milling action during the tightening phase, thus creating a recess to house the head of the screw and a perfect alignment with the surface of the wood.
SMOOTH SHANK
The smooth part of the body of the screw, equivalent to 40% of its length, has a pulling effect on one of the two parts to be assembled and enables the parts to be gripped correctly.

OGIVE-SHAPED TIP
Threaded right to the end, ensure a secure grip without any slipping and a gradual and constant penetration of the screw. Rapid penetration is thus obtained and, as there are no points of discontinuity, here is a lower risk of cracking the materials.

CE MARKING
Of the assembly elements for constructing wooden weight-bearing structures, in accordance with the EN 14592:2009 standard (granted by the CSTB Centre Scientifique du Bâtiment, in Paris). Issue of the DoP (Declaration of Performance), in accordance with the European Construction Regulation no. 305/2011.
- Differences in grip between a completely threaded Panelvit® screw and a Panelvit® PF screw. The figure on the left shows the smooth shank of the Panelvit® PF screw turning freely in the upper part (1). The thread acts on the lower part (2) moving it towards the first. The figure on the right shows the thread acting in the same way on the two parts, preventing the lower part (2) from moving beside the upper part (1) and obtaining the grip.
- Section of the screw that shows the characteristics of the carbonitriding treatment.
- Graph comparing a Panelvit® screw and a traditional screw that shows the ability of LUBEX® lubrication to considerably reduce the tightening effort.
