Panelvit® AF Chromiting® Small head CSKR TX / CSK PZ
Screw for screwing without a pilot hole and without producing splits or bulges in the material into: MDF panels, laminated panels and thin chipboard, thin wood or plywood, matchboard and angular frames, edges and corners (including diagonal ones).
SMALL HEAD with self-countersinking ribs to penetrate into the material avoiding the “wedge effect” while tightening.
PARTIAL THREADING to obtain rapid and effective tightening even in joining thick panels.
CRACK-PROOF AF DRILLING TIP which pierces the wood like a drill bit, removing the shavings from the material. The hole receives the thread which penetrates without splitting.
CHROMITING® GALVANIC TREATMENT of an iridescent colour, it ensures much more effective protection against rust than all normal galvanizing treatments. Complies with the EN1670 standard grade 4. More info: finishing treatments
CE MARKING of assembly elements for constructing weight-bearing wooden structures, in accordance with the EN 14592:2009 standard (granted by the CSTB Centre Scientifique du Bâtiment, in Paris). Issue of the DoP (Declaration of Performance), in accordance with the European Construction Regulation no. 305/2011.
Example of screwing without a pilot hole close to an edge: comparison between the Panelvit® AF screw and a traditional screw. The Panelvit® AF screw does not split the wood.
Section of the screw that shows the characteristics of the carbonitriding treatment.
Diagram that shows the reduction of the tightening torque by up to 50% compared to a common unlubricated screw.
