deep to ensure secure matching with the screwdriver. A deep recess, of a perfect shape, enables he same insert to be used for thousands of screwing operations.
up to below the head, to allow the gripping of extremely thin sheets.
threaded right to the end, to allow the screw to gradually deform the material, creating a “drawing” effect, which increases the grip on thin sheets.

IN PROCESS CONTROLS
The entire manufacturing process is subjected to SPC (Statistical Product Control), which guarantees a constantly high level of quality in time.
The batch number on the labels ensures absolute traceability of all the phases of production and related control/test documents.
The Mustadscrews are manufactured with stricter-than-standard tolerance limits. They can therefore be defined as ‘calibrated’, that is, capable of sliding more easily in the guides and loading tubes of screwing machines.
Types of head
This shape of head combines the minimum height with a better surface of contact with respect to the normal pan head.
This type of screw is used to:
– assemble very thin materials
– give a better aesthetic effect to the part assembled
– cover slotted holes with a larger diameter than the standard size of the pan head.
The flange may have various diameters according to the application to be performed.
These screws satisfy the need to obtain fixtures with higher vibration resistance, in that the recess made by the tightening of the screw produces an anti-loosening effect.
Recommended also to obtain ground contacts on electrical parts.
Hexagonal-head self-tapping screws for applications that require a high tightening torque. In the version with a collar, it ensures an excellent distribution of the axial force, protecting the surface of the part to be assembled against contact with the tightening bush.
Head with captive washer
These screws with a preassembled captive washer are manufactured with a pan head or hexagonal head. Their advantage lies in the simplification of assembly in mass production.
Smooth washer: for the gripping of very thin metal sheets or plastic without damaging the surface gripped, or to cover large slotted holes.
Serrated washer: to obtain connections with an extremely high vibration-resistance.
Types of recess
The particular shape of the recess and the larger number of points of contact between the head and the bit reduce the “come-out” effect and the wear of the bit itself.
The collar increases the supporting surface, protecting the part from the action of the tightening bush at the same time.
Combines the universal nature of the slotted recess with the characteristics of the six lobe recess.
Types of thread
Types of tip
Threaded right to the end to allow the screw to deform the material gradually, creating a ‘drawing’ effect, which increases the grip on thin sheets.
BZ type with gradual entry which facilitates entry in the hole and reduces the risk of injuries during the assembly, handling and maintenance of the part assembled.
